Flu Vaccinations – Winter 2025/26
We are now taking bookings for our Flu vaccinations.
The eligibility criteria and timescales for the National Flu Immunisation Programme 2025/26 are follows:
From 1st September 2025
- Pregnant women
- All school children aged 2 or 3 years on 31st October 2025
From 1st October 2025
- Those aged 65 years or over
- Those aged 18 years to under 65 years in clinical at risk groups
- Those in long-stay residential care homes
- Carers in receipt of carers allowance, or those who are the main carer of an elderly or disabled person
- Close contacts of immunocompromised individuals
- Frontline workers in a health or social care setting without an employer led occupational health scheme
If you are unsure if you meet the eligibility criteria, don’t worry, we will be sending a text message to invite all patients that are eligible to receive a free flu vaccine at the practice.
Our initial Flu clinic will be taking place on Saturday 4th October 2025. We are monitoring bookings and may put on additional clinic on Saturday 11th October if we need to. Further appointments will be available outside of these clinics to ensure that we can vaccinate everyone who is eligible, and wishes to have the vaccine.
