If you need help when we are closed

If you need help urgently and it isn’t life threatening, please use the NHS111 service to be directed to care in the right place for your medical problem.

You can either call 111, use NHS 111 online or use the NHS App. All three routes will ensure that you are assessed and, if you need to be seen, an appointment can be arranged at a local service, such as an urgent care or urgent treatment centre.

Your telephone call will put you through to a trained member of NHS staff who will arrange for a doctor or nurse to call you back to advise you on the best course of action for your medical problem.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
